Song: What Ever Gets You Thru The Night
Artist: John Lennon
This song was a surprising, simple reminder of the power of the message of the song of the day. I was spinning in frustrated feelings after 3 days of a bellyache. Instead of joyfully greeting this day, I was griping about not knowing what to do with myself to shift my energy. And then…play the song…and it all turned around for me.
I’m not even familiar with this song, but the easy, repetitive lyrics encouraging me that it will be All right along with the horn heavy, upbeat music shifted my inner self enough to let go of the grumpy one and find a new, better vibe to be in for my morning. Life changing!! Life brightening! So grateful for this message today.

Whatever gets you thru the night
It's all right, it's all right
It's your money or your life
It's all right, it's all right
Don't need a sword to cut thru flowers
Oh no, oh no
Reflections
- How is your energy today?
- How does this music hit you?
- If you have frustration or other constricting energies, can you feel them lift?
- What “flowers” are in your life? Find a little gratitude for them and put away the sword to save for a real warrior moment. Maybe dance around a little in their midst.
Try this
- Use the HeartShine Song of the Day in the morning when you can to start your day with a bright, open heart or later in the day to keep your vibe high or to reclaim your powerful good energy for your day.
The songs are messages from the Divine delivered each morning at the moment of consciousness returning to this human world. The Divine is ever present in our lives no matter what you call it…God, The Universe, Mother Nature, and more. Receiving the message in whatever form it comes to you is important to acknowledge the energy of this powerful resource that exists for each of us in a very specific way. It’s easy to miss it if you aren’t intentionally noticing. The more you receive, the more you will be given.
Claim your power!
And now a bit about the mundane…the bellyache. I’m in the midst of reclaiming my microbiome gut health. Healing one’s gut can require a very individualized protocol and a bit of time and focus. Adding effective probiotics is one incredibly important component of a healthy gut and something that has never been easy for me to find until my clinical nutritionist got involved. More to that whole story another time.

For today, I just want to share one of the probiotics that has been crucial for me, Pendulum’s Akkermansia. Akkermansia is a necessary bacteria that has lots of impact on mood, blood sugar, weight management and an overall healthy gut and body.
My recent GI Map showed my Akkermansia levels as nearly undetectable.
I had taken Akkermansia for a month more than a year ago, but the imbalances in my gut had decimated the population to the point it needed to be reinstated. I started with Pendulum’s Akkermansia at the 100 million level since my body can be a bit sensitive. After 30 days, I graduated to the recommended 500 million level, but my body is clearly not ready for the higher input so I’m back to the 100 million for a bit longer.
