Love, Reign O’er Me

Song: Love, Reign O’er Me
Artist: The Who

Today, I was blue. I don’t like to label myself as depressed as labels can stick to me longer than I want them to, but I really was this morning. I’d been dealing with a toxic indoor air situation that wasn’t resolving itself fast enough. So. Many. AI Queries. I was too depressed to finish my yoga class, too low to walk to the magic tree at the end of my street. My feelings were hard enough, but my whole household was having trouble that day. And then, my friend said…”go sit in the backyard…the clouds are pretty.”

I went to the backyard to soak up something different. And it worked. I often sit outside and ground to the Earth’s energy to receive the power she brings to sustain us while also connecting with my energy from my highest self – from above. I had to be reminded today though.

Thank God for the sky and the birds and the butterflies and all the beauty nature has for us on this amazing planet Earth.

It was exactly what I needed. First, the magpie family came – six in total. Related to crows and full of magic. Then the chickadee family came – six members there – parents and kids. And then our resident Giant Swallowtail butterfly stayed for a long, long, long time on my gorgeous bright orange and fuchsia zinnias. All bringing good vibes to me in my sweet backyard under a gorgeous summer blue sky.

Only love
Can make it rain
The way the beach is kissed by the sea
…
Love reign o’er me
Love reign o’er me, rain on me, rain on me
Only love
Can bring the rain
That makes you yearn to the sky…
